regardless of the direction they were traveling, sidewalk or not its your responsibility so see, and negotiate pedestrians and cyclists. as somebody who rides roughly 200miles a week i feel (with the exception of blasting through stop signs and lights) that there are very rarely cyclist caused run ins with cars.
my uncle own's fermie's a1 auto body, ive thrown in shop time back in high school and vouch for the work (lifetime warranty). every guy working there has show winning quality cars, not to mention the le mans winning race cars, show cars, exotics etc that go through there. but honestly in santa barbara few places can stay around long to pump out shitty work, there are a good number of top quality shops. and since your paint is a pearl the reality is its never going to match absolutely perfectly without painting the car. anybody who says they can perfectly match paint is smoking crack rock, good enough that virtually nobody can tell yes, perfect doesn't exist with paint jobs on driven cars.
